Overnight Soft Herb Rolls

This great recipe is perfect for a make-ahead occasion. Don’t forget them in the oven as I have twice, as they no longer are soft.

Ingredients 

  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/4 cup cool (70°) water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon each: parsley, dill, chives, rosemary (fresh)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 1/2 – 3 3/4 cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon lightly beaten egg
