Today I had the Chinese Chicken Salad ($10.25). I always enjoy this salad and here at Café Laufer they serve a good one. It’s just the right size, very manageable for a meal. The chicken was tender and juicy, the dressing tangy and just the right amount of it too. The won ton strips were crunchy, as were the sliced almonds. It hit the spot.

 

I’ve had sandwiches here before and they’ve always been very good. They’re served with a side salad. They also have a diverse menu of other things and a daily entree special. A soup of the day rounds out the menu. Two display cases of sweet things tempt you as you order too. They all look terribly scrumptious. The one time temptation got me, it was delicious.
