René Haro’s New Orleans Punch

Thanks to Sharon for this one. It’s a great punch and it packs one. Sharon always floated fruit in it for our Mardi Gras parties in Palo Alto. More than one celebrant was taken down by this brew.

Ingredients 

  • 1 big can of pineapple juice
  • 2 cups white wine
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1/2 bottle club soda–for “fizzy”
  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • Fruit if desired

Directions

Mix it all together. Float some fruit on top for added festiveness.

Sip slowly, lest you wear the hat of shame
