This great recipe is perfect for a make-ahead occasion. Don’t forget them in the oven as I have twice, as they no longer are soft.
Ingredients
- 1 package yeast
- 1/4 cup cool (70°) water
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon each: parsley, dill, chives, rosemary (fresh)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 3 1/2 – 3 3/4 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon lightly beaten egg
