This recipe I found on the internet. I think they were called Fred’s Mai Tais, but I cannot find it again to give Fred credit.
Ingredients
For 2 servings:
- 2 jiggers light rum
- 1/2 jigger Kahlua
- 1/2 jigger orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 4 jiggers pineapple juice (or 1 6oz can)
- 4 jiggers orange juice
- Dark rum (Meyers, not Bacardi)
- Pineapple and cherries for garnish
- Cocktail umbrellas
For 8 servings:
- 1 cup light rum
- 1/4 cup Kahlua
- 1/4cup orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 2 cups orange juice
- Dark rum (Meyers, not Bacardi)
- Pineapple and cherries for garnish
- Cocktail umbrellas.
Directions
Combine light rum, Kahlua, orange liqueur, pineapple juice and orange juice in a large pitcher. Stir well.
Pour into glasses of ice, leaving room at the top. Top with a little dark rum. Garnish with an umbrella with a pineapple chuck and cherry.

- 4 cups light rum

- 8 cups pineapple juice
- 8 cups orange juice
