If you like shoot-em up films with predictable p
lots and lots of action, this is the film for you. It has no twists, it’s very straightforward and feels like it was written by a script machine. I laughed out loud at some of the lines and they weren’t meant to be funny. Mark Wahlberg does a serviceable job as the protagonist, as does Danny Glover as the braces lisping villain. In the end, Shooterjust isn’t clever. It’s a bit boring, because you always know what’s going to happen next. ‘nuff said.
