I joke that I’m Executive Chef at the Bates Motel. But that just means I’m a house husband. I do most things domestic including gardening and raising chickens. We currently have 4 chickens: Rhoda, Phyllis, Billie Holliday and Ella Fitzgerald. They’re of various ages, but our old ladies are Rhoda & Phyllis from our original Mary Tyler Moore flock. They turned 6 this year. The Jazz Singer flock is supposedly two years younger.
